The Randy Rogers Band, a fairly new band out of Texas, kicked off the night around 7:30 p.m. with selections from their recent release "Just a Matter of Time." Most of the large crowd hadn’t arrived yet, but the band gave a whole-hearted performance which received a great crowd response.
Miranda Lambert, who first made a name for herself as a finalist on the 2003 season of "Nashville Star" entertained the crowd with selections from her hit album, 2005’s "Kerosene," that included "Me and Charlie Talking," and "I Wanna Die." She also performed a cover of The Band’s "Up on Cripple Creek," and some news songs off her upcoming album that included "Dry Town," and "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend."
The 22-year-old put on an entertaining show and got enthusiastic cheers from the audience, especially when she learned the huge response "War Eagle" gets.
Headlining act, Dierks Bentley, started his set off with the top ten hit "Every Mile a Memory" from his upcoming album "Long Trip Alone" that will be released later this month. The country star had the ladies swooning with hits like "Lot of Leavin' Left to Do," and "Settle for a Slowdown."
